The Making of Cherish

This sculpture was made for a good friend's parents wedding anniversary. They named it "Cherish".

The process was very different in that they asked if I could sculpt their design. A family member was a graphic designer and he was very specific about the dimensions and angles. Upon hearing the meaning of the design I accepted the conditions.

The 3 rings represent the generations. It represents the past, the present and the future. It speaks of the love of their family, in the continuous infinite circles - hence they named the sculpture "Cherish".

I was a little nervous keeping to the specifications, and for a simple design it still required a lot of concentration.
