The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain!
It was a wet weekend for the Otaihanga Stone Carvers Symposium which I attended, along with other stone carvers who braved the weather in true kiwi spirit in gumboots and wellies!
I had a wonderful time at Otaihanga. It was an intimate group of 10 carvers for 3 days. The first day was hot, then it changed - dramtically! But we had a fantastic time making new friends and were treated like royalty. It was the first time this event has been organised for this area, and we still had plenty of visitors in spite of the rain.
My thanks to Donna and Noel for organising this event, and the ladies that looked after us, I cant wait till next year!
