Michael and Heni contacted me from Australia wanting a headstone for Michael's sister Isobel. We shared numerous emails and phone calls about Isobel's life. It's always such an honour to be trusted with this detail. The design was deliberate. The three koru representing Isobel and her parents within the circle of life - significant due to the birth of Michael & Heni's son on the day Isobel died.

The outer circle was quite a wide band and whilst it is lovely to run your hand across I thought I would adorn it with a weaving pattern. Then we farewelled the memorial as it made its journey to Gisborne.
