"I have a thing about turtles"  She wanted a sculpture for inside that incorporated her Mum and Dad included a turtle and celtic knot and in my style.

I warned her it might be "busy"  - she didnt mind that. 

 

So I designed a soft celtic knot onto the back of the turtle. A pasifika design representing her Samoan father, and a Thistle representing her Scottish mum. I didn't want a standard shape so imagined the turtle and everything else being swept along a current.
